Clause 14 Programme (Base Line); According to the Fidic and most of the international general forms of contracts The contractor has to submit a base line programme for the consultant/Employer approval (or Consent) this approved schedule is the one to refer to in all extension of times Claims.

·        The narrative report; which is a report (Issued based on the method statement) usually attached to the schedule to describe the logic, coding (Activity Codes & WBS), and phasing (Paths of Crews, Path of formwork and significant equipments such as cranes).

·        Zoning layout (or phasing plan); layout plan showing the zones project is divided in to. 3



·        Floor Cycles; usually the cycle is measured as concrete (slabs) finish to finish duration in calendars days which is normally a week (7 to 8 days) in Gulf. 



·        production rates; man-hours spent per unit qty of the job i.e. 35 man-hr / 1 ton of rebar

·        Long lead Items; the material related to critical activities (which needs long procurement and/or installation time). most commonly MEP material and elevators.

·        Typical cycle; detailed (floor to floor) schedule showing all the relation bet. Activities to be submitted upon the engineer (consultant request).

·        How many activities is the schedule; for that question you must be aware about the total number of the act. And how many of them is in construction phase. (Usually the schedule id considered big starting from 2000 activities. [/code

·        Procurement log (or procurement register); A spread sheet, most commonly excel, showing in details the status of procurement items.

·        Shop drawing log (or register); same idea but for shop drawings.

·        Updating forms; a spread sheet, most commonly excel exported from schedule, distributed to site eng. and procurement dept. to fill with dates and percentage % of progress to allow the scheduler to update his programme
